Disney and Marvel faced criticism for the show “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law,” with fans pointing out issues such as inconsistent CGI, a messy plot, and attempts to soften the character.
The series also drew controversy for its portrayal of toxic fans as the antagonists.
Despite some vocal support from fans, the show’s future seems uncertain due to budget concerns, as lead actress Tatiana Maslany suggested that Disney may not pursue a second season due to exceeding the budget, which was reported to be $200 million, largely allocated to CGI effects.
“I don’t think so. I think we blew our budget, and Disney was like, ‘No thanks,’” Maslany said when asked if a season two would come.
