Palestinian activist Mohammed El-Kurd made controversial statements at a pro-Palestinian rally in London, including calling for the normalization of massacres and characterizing Zionism as a “death cult.”
After facing criticism, he claimed to have misspoken. However, El-Kurd has a history of defending terrorists and justifying violent attacks against Israel.
He has also expressed beliefs that Israel has no right to exist and has used slogans implying the eradication of the Jewish state.

El-Kurd reportedly said, “we must normalize massacres as a status quo.”
London’s Metropolitan Police Service said their officers are “assessing the matter and as part of that assessment will be seeking to speak to the individual concerned.”
“We must normalise arresting and deporting people like this,” demanded UK’s former immigration minister Robert Jenrick.
Despite his claims of misspeaking, his past statements and actions have raised concerns and led to calls for his arrest and deportation.
