The Houthi rebels in Yemen have reportedly prepared plans to target American bases in the Arab region, prompting the Biden administration to consider re-designating them as “global terrorists.”
The group has a history of military aggression and has been accused of weaponizing water and launching attacks on ships.
Recently, they launched ballistic missiles at a U.S. air base in the UAE, prompting a defensive response from American troops.
The U.S. military on Tuesday carried out a new strike in Yemen against four Houthi anti-ship ballistic missiles.
The missiles were struck because they were being prepared to target ships in the region.
