Julia Roberts discussed her decision not to do nude scenes in movies, emphasizing that it’s a choice that represents her professionally.
She also talked about the changes in the movie industry since she started, expressing a sense of being out of step with the current landscape.
Additionally, she mentioned the challenges of fame in the modern era, describing it as more chaotic and exhausting. (Trending: Trump Responds To Biden’s Bombing In Yemen)
“Not to be criticizing others’ choices, but for me to not take off my clothes in a movie or be vulnerable in physical ways is a choice that I guess I make for myself,” Roberts said.
“But in effect, I’m choosing not to do something as opposed to choosing to do something.”
“Oh, it’s completely different from my time,” Roberts said. “I mean, that’s when I really feel like a dinosaur, when you just look at the structure of the business. It’s completely different.”
“I don’t know if it’s better, because it’s not my experience, but it just seems very different,” she added.
“And in a way, it seems so cluttered.”
Roberts has previously spoken about her stance on nudity in films, highlighting her commitment to keeping her performances clothed as a form of acting.
She also mentioned her role as a mother influencing her choices in this regard.
“There are so many elements to being famous now, it just seems exhausting,” Roberts said. “It kind of just made this sort of structural sense, and now it just seems more chaotic. There’s more elements, there’s more noise, there’s more outlets, there’s more stuff.”
“You know it’s not really what I do, so if you are going to ask me to do it, you have to expect it to be toned down,” she said. “You know, as a mom of three, I feel like that.”
