Diagnoses of gender dysphoria increased in every state except South Dakota from 2018 to 2022, with South Dakota experiencing a 23% decrease.

The state implemented restrictions on transgender medical interventions for minors, which may have influenced the decrease.

Virginia, Indiana, and Utah saw the steepest rises in diagnoses. (Trending: Anthony Fauci Questioned About Evidence Behind COVID Restrictions)

According to Definitive Healthcare, South Dakota lawmakers reportedly pushed for a ban in 2020, that had “the dual chilling effects of reduced access to sympathetic providers and the self-directed seeking of care in states where long-term access was protected.”

There is also an increase in gender surgeries and potential health risks associated with puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones.

The number of minors identifying as transgender has risen, with an estimated 300,000 minors aged 13 to 17 identifying as transgender in 2022.

This represents a significant increase from previous years.
