According to an Economist-YouGov poll, a majority of registered voters believe that if former President Donald Trump wins the Republican nomination, he would likely or certainly win back the White House.
Conversely, fewer voters believe that other potential Republican candidates like Nikki Haley, Ron DeSantis, and Vivek Ramaswamy would defeat a Democratic nominee.
The poll also shows that in a hypothetical match-up between Trump and Biden, voters predict a close race, with Trump leading among independents. (Trending: Michelle Obama Admits Being ‘Terrified’ Ahead of 2024)
