Country singer Zach Bryan fulfilled a promise to his late mother by earning his Bachelor’s degree in psychology at 27, despite his music career.
Bryan had previously put his education on hold to pursue music.

Zach had a close bond with his mother, who passed away in 2016, and shared a heartfelt tribute to her.
“Got my bachelors yesterday after exams in the desert and green rooms to about a hundred different venues,” Bryan wrote.
“No arrogance attached just a promise I made my mom a long while back,” he said. “Bound to be a good week guys.”
“My mom was my best friend, I would call her every morning at 6 am on my way to work, and she would call me every night after my workout and ask, ‘well how many miles did you run today?’” Bryan wrote previously.
“She knew me better than I knew myself, and better than anyone will ever know me,” he added.
“She has kept me out of a lot of trouble and she was always my shelter from the rain. There are plenty of cliches I could say, and a mile long list of reasons I loved her but I will spare the novel.”
“A beautiful woman, with a beautiful heart full of kind words and smiles she gladly shared with me.”
“Every memory, and every moment is embedded in my soul. Rest in peace to my best friend, and to the woman who taught me how to hug. I will love you from afar until the day we can do this again.”
