Nikki Haley, a Republican presidential candidate, expressed her willingness to pardon former President Donald Trump if he is convicted of federal crimes, citing the best interest of the country.

Despite trailing Trump by 30 points in New Hampshire’s Republican primary race, Haley remains open to pardoning him and has been accused of lacking resolve when it comes to her ex-boss.

“A leader needs to think about what’s in the best interest of the country,” said Haley. (Trending: Fauci’s Ex-Boss Admits The Truth About COVID)

“What’s in the best interest of the country is not to have an 80-year-old man sitting in jail that continues to divide our country. What’s in the best interest of our country is to pardon him so that we can move on as a country and no longer talk about him,” she continued.

Meanwhile, some Democrats express strong negative sentiments towards Trump, with a percentage wishing him imprisoned or executed if convicted.

Trump, in a recent interview, stated he does not expect to face either President Joe Biden or Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 general election.
