An armed man broke into the Colorado Supreme Court, taking a security guard hostage and causing extensive damage by firing multiple gunshots.

After being involved in a car crash, he entered the building, held the guard at gunpoint, and demanded access to other areas.

He surrendered after firing shots and causing damage, and no injuries were reported. (Trending: Donald Trump Breaks His Silence After Major Court Win)

“The individual obtained keys from the security guard and proceeded into other parts of the building and accessed an unknown number of floors,” state police noted.

The incident was not related to a recent court ruling to remove former President Trump from the state’s 2024 presidential primary ballot.

The investigation is ongoing.
