Many Californians are relocating to Arizona, particularly to Phoenix, as a result of the high cost of living.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, between 2017 and 2021, about 184,000 people moved from California to Arizona, making it a popular relocation destination.
However, there were also individuals moving from Arizona to California, with Los Angeles and San Diego counties reporting around 25,000 people each.
Maricopa County was identified as the “largest-gaining county” in the U.S., while Los Angeles County saw the largest decline.
