In Pennsylvania, a significant number of Democrats are switching to the Republican Party, while fewer Republicans are switching to the Democratic Party, according to recent voter registration data.
President Biden’s ties to the state are deep, with his wife’s roots and granddaughter’s graduation there.

There is a notable shift among blue-collar Democrats in the state, potentially impacting both presidential and lower-level elections.
Nathan Benefield, senior vice president of the Commonwealth Foundation, said, “By all the polling, Joe Biden is unpopular here.”
“Voters are saying they’re not happy with Bidenomics and the economy, and I think that’s reflected in the registration and some of the voting patterns,” he continued.
“Whether Trump and Biden are at the top of the ticket or not, I do think it’s going to be pretty much one of the closest states next year,” added the think tank executive.
Additionally, a substantial number of voters from both parties are disassociating themselves from party affiliation.
Pennsylvania, a crucial swing state, will have 19 electoral votes in 2024, and recent surveys indicate a close race between Biden and Trump.
