Joy Behar, co-host of ‘The View,’ faced backlash for her comments on the Colorado Supreme Court’s decision regarding Donald Trump.
Behar’s statement, “The law must defeat him,” in response to a tweet, has sparked criticism as it was seen as an endorsement of legal maneuvers to disqualify Trump, bypassing the electoral process.
This has led to significant online criticism, especially as it contrasts with her previous claim that a Trump primary victory would lead to a Democratic win. (Trending: Trans Athlete Breaks College Record After Joining Women’s Team)
“He might win a fair election so we have to find a way to get him off the ballot. And let us not forget about the manner of voting prescribed by the Constitution.”

“The best and ONLY way to defeat Trump is at the ballot box, not to kick him off the ballot,” Joe Walsh Walsh wrote.
“Defeat him at the ballot box. That’s what’s best for the country.”
“Joe, the ballot box can’t compete with the third party candidates who will take votes from Joe Biden,” Behar wrote.
“And let us not forget the electoral college. The law must defeat him.”
