Polling has revealed a growing trust in AI for medical advice, particularly among Americans.
Data from UserTesting shows that Americans are more willing to trust AI with their health issues compared to those in the U.K. and Australia.

Additionally, over half of Americans have sought a diagnosis from large language models like ChatGPT, with a high percentage finding the diagnosis accurate.
“Of them, 81% have been given a diagnosis from the LLM,” UserTesting noted, “and when asked for their diagnosis after consulting a doctor, 84% said the diagnosis was accurate.”
