Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad made false claims during a speech, denying the Holocaust and the murder of six million Jews.
He also falsely blamed the U.S. for the rise of the Nazi Party and politicized the issue, suggesting a conspiracy to transfer Jews to Palestine.
Additionally, he falsely claimed that Jews returning to Israel had no connection to the ancient people of Israel. (Trending: Assault Weapons Ban Set To Take Effect, Here’s What To Know)

“There is no evidence that six million Jews were killed [in the Holocaust],” proclaimed the dictator.
“True, there were concentration camps, but what shows you that this is a politicized issue, and is not a humanitarian issue, and is not real,” he continued.
“How come we talk about these six million, and not the 26 million Soviets who were killed in that war?” he asked.
“Are those six millions more precious? The same acts were everywhere,” alleged al Assad.
“However, this issue was politicized, in order to falsify the truth, and later to prepare for the transfer of the Jews from Europe to other areas, or [rather] to Palestine,” alleged the Syrian ruler.
