Democratic Lt. Gov. Eleni Kounalakis of California made an error in stating the minimum age for a president, wrongly claiming it to be 40 instead of 35.
Her mistake was widely mocked, highlighting her lack of understanding of the Constitution.

Republicans have heavily criticized the anti-Trump establishment for selectively using and disregarding the Constitution based on convenience, exposing their a lack of genuine respect for it.
“The constitution is clear: you must be 40 years old and not be an insurrectionist,” Kounalakis wrote.
“Our country is governed by idiots,” an X user wrote.
“It’s 40 in the 1619 Constitution,” another posted.
