The drowning death of former President Barack Obama’s personal Chef Tafari Campbell has raised concerns due to the revelation that the U.S. Secret Service’s boats were ‘inoperable’ during the incident.

Judicial Watch records indicate that agents struggled to start their boats, delaying rescue efforts.

Additionally, Campbell was not wearing a life jacket, and the search was paused when Obama arrived on the scene. (Trending: FBI Bribery Probe Caught Joe Biden’s Brother On Tape)

Judicial Watch records reveal that Campbell’s companion, a female identified as “Ms. Taylor” witnessed Campbell fall into the water and struggle for “a couple of seconds before giving up and sinking underwater.”

The uncovered documents stated that Ms. Taylor told the agency “Mr. Campbell was not wearing a life jacket and had no personal flotation devices aboard the paddle board at the time of the incident.”

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton expressed concern over the lack of readiness in the emergency response.

Fitton wrote in the report, “It is disturbing that Secret Service boats did not work for this emergency situation.”

“This new information perhaps explains why the Secret Service is still hiding video related to the tragic drowning,” he continued.

A separate report revealed that a supervising agent “attempted to start one of the boats but had difficulties lowering the motor.”

“I headed down with [redacted] but told her to continue down and yelled to SA [redacted] and SSA [redacted] that I would run to get the keys for our USSS boat,” wrote the responding supervising agent.

“I sprinted to the CP [Command Post], grabbed the keys and sprinted back towards the boats,” they continued.

Discovering, “A similar issue occurred with the motor on the second boat.”

“We jumped into a third boat belonging to the groundskeeper and it worked without issue,” they continued.

The Secret Service is also withholding related video footage, prompting questions about the incident.
