Russian President Vladimir Putin vowed to continue the conflict in Ukraine until his objectives are met, emphasizing that there will be no peace until then.

He provided details about the current presence of Russian soldiers in Ukraine and dismissed the need for a second wave of mobilization.

“There will be peace when we will achieve our goals,” Putin said. (Trending: New Movie Obamas Helped Make Raises Eyebrows: ‘Don’t Trust White People’)

This year’s press conference allowed ordinary citizens to ask questions, a departure from Putin’s usual media interaction.

The event primarily serves as a means for Putin to address domestic concerns and strengthen his position ahead of the upcoming election.

“For the majority of people, this is their only hope and possibility of solving the most important problems,” a state television news report noted.
