The Netflix film ‘Leave the World Behind,’ executive produced by Barack and Michelle Obama, has sparked controversy due to a line of dialogue stating that white people cannot be trusted.

This has led to negative audience responses and accusations of racist messaging.

The film follows a married couple thrown into an apocalyptic setting with a father and daughter, and the divisive dialogue arises in this context. (Trending: LeBron James Shares Gun Advice For Americans)

“If the world falls apart, trust should not be doled out easily to anyone.” the daughter says to her father.

“Especially white people.”

Some individuals have questioned if the film is “predictive programming” and criticized the Obamas’ involvement in it.

“Barack & Michelle Obama just produced their first fiction film on Netflix called: ‘Leave The World Behind’ The plot is about a cyberattack that shuts down all the power & cripples the United States. (Predictive programming?) They even managed to sneak in a scene bashing white people.” End Wokeness wrote.

Elon Musk added, “Is this for real?”

“Netflix film called ‘Leave The World Behind’ produced by the Obamas includes a scene demonizing white people. White people are the only group you’re allowed and celebrated to be racist towards and it will be put into movies by the most influential people,” Chaya Raichik’s Libs of TikTok said.

The negative audience response and accusations of racism have been prominent on social media.
