A veteran teacher at a prestigious private girls’ school in the UK was found lifeless on stage the morning after directing a Nativity play.
The incident occurred at a Church of England parish church in London, and the school expressed deep sadness at the passing of the teacher.
The death is not being treated as suspicious by the London Metropolitan Police, and the school is focusing on supporting its students and staff during this challenging time. (Trending: Tucker Carlson Reveals ‘Secret’ Project He’s Been Working On For Months)
Rev. Will Coleridge, vicar of St. Matthew’s said, “We sadly had an unfortunate incident here on Monday night.”
“It was inside the church. I can’t say too much but it is dreadful,” explained Coleridge.
“I half knew the deceased,” admitted Coleridge.
“Of course, the Nativity here is all canceled now,” added the reverand.
“They will do it elsewhere, which is understandable.”
“Fortunately, none of the children were there at the time,” revealed Coleridge.
“It was grim, obviously, really grim. I mean these things are really horrible,” he lamented.
The school’s headmistress, Sophie Banks said she was “deeply saddened at the recent passing of a member of our school’s community.”
“On behalf of the school, we would like to extend our sincerest condolences to their family and friends,” she continued.
Adding, “As we collectively navigate through this challenging period, we will focus on supporting our girls and colleagues.”
“The death is being treated as unexpected but early inquiries do not indicate it is suspicious,” said a police representative.
