New polls indicate that in the battleground states of Georgia and Michigan, former President Donald Trump is leading President Joe Biden.
Despite Biden’s close victory in 2020, Trump has gained a ten-point lead in Michigan and a five-point lead in Georgia.
Furthermore, the polls reflect dissatisfaction with Biden’s leadership, with a majority disapproving of his performance. (Trending: Tucker Carlson Reveals ‘Secret’ Project He’s Been Working On For Months)
“Among the possible issues raised by the polls, 66% of Georgians and 69% of Michiganders feel that Biden lacks the requisite incisiveness and endurance to be president,” the report noted.
“As far as presidential temperaments go, 57% of Michiganders and 58% of Georgians have expressed disapproval of Trump.”
Additionally, a holiday spending report suggests that inflation has led to reduced spending and increased work hours for many Americans.
“The survey shows that over a third (34%) are trimming their budgets in favor of saving this year, while others are cutting back on buying gifts or non-essential expenses like dining out to stay on track,” Empower representative Courtney Burrell said.
“How you allocate your holiday budget will depend on what’s most important to you; this year, you may prioritize travel to visit family that you typically only see during the holidays over decorations or cut back on social commitments to give yourself a larger budget for holiday gifts,” she added.
“Thirty-seven percent of respondents said they plan to spend less than $250 on gifts this year, and more than one in 10 told Empower they are budgeting more than $1,000,” the report read.
Concerns about the economy persist, as a poll in four swing states revealed low confidence in Biden’s ability to handle economic matters, with many blaming him for the nation’s economic challenges.
