4 Suspects Linked To ‘South American Theft Groups’ Arrested In PA After String Of Burglaries At Affluent Homes

Four men from Chile were arrested in Pennsylvania after being connected to a series of burglaries at affluent homes.

The men were found with fraudulent identification cards and burglary tools in their vehicle, and police discovered evidence linking them to targeted locations in the Meadowbrook neighborhood.

“This is a disturbing trend,” said Abington Police Lt. Steve Fink.

The suspects “claimed to have driven to Pennsylvania from California to visit a friend and were looking for a restaurant,” said the police.

They are being held at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility.
