President Joe Biden has announced a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the White House to demonstrate unwavering support for Ukraine against Russia’s invasion.
The leaders will discuss Ukraine’s urgent needs and the importance of continued US support.

“As Russia ramps up its missile and drone strikes against Ukraine, the leaders will discuss Ukraine’s urgent needs and the vital importance of the United States’ continued support at this critical moment,” White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said.
President Biden has requested $106 billion for wars in Ukraine and Israel, warning of dire consequences if lawmakers don’t act.
The US has already spent over $75 billion in assistance to Ukraine since Russia’s invasion in February 2022.
