New Hampshire Republican Gov. Chris Sununu has narrowed his potential endorsement for the state’s primary to three governors: Ron DeSantis, Chris Christie, and Nikki Haley.
Notably, former President Donald Trump is not on his list.

“It’s definitely one of the three governors,” teased Sununu.
“I have a couple of conversations with all of them actually over the next week,” he announced.
Adding, “And we’ll make kind of a firm decision in short order.”
“Most people really won’t even decide who they’re voting for ’til … the next couple of weeks or maybe even after Christmas, given that this entire campaign has moved so late,” said Sununu.
“I think all three governors – Chris, Ron, Nikki – they would all make excellent presidents,” affirmed the NH Republican.
“There’s no question about it. And it’s not just about finding the candidate who can win. It’s the candidate who’s really the best suited to lead this nation; to lead the free world,” he added.
When asked about Trump, Gov. Sununu reportedly said he wanted a candidate that would lower inflation and “not be distracted with legal issues.”
“No, he’s not running for president because he’s polling at zero, and has no chance of winning,” Trump said in response about Sununu.
He also mentioned past instances where front-runners were upset in early states.
Sununu stressed the need for a candidate focused on economic issues and criticized Trump’s potential distractions.
Additionally, he affirmed that the chosen candidate should be best suited to lead the nation.
