Julia Roberts has expressed her sadness over the death of her ex-boyfriend, Matthew Perry, stating that his passing at a young age is heartbreaking.
She fondly recalled her time on the TV show “Friends” and shared that her character’s appearance was influenced by Perry’s encouragement.

“I think that, you know, it just helps all of us just appreciate what we have and to keep going in a positive way as best we can.”
“They were all so welcoming to me as just a kind of a one-off character, and it was a really fun time,” Roberts said of the “Friends” cast.
“All good thoughts and feelings.”
Perry’s memoir revealed that their relationship was intense and challenging, with him feeling unworthy of Roberts.
“I was not enough; I could never be enough; I was broken, bent, unloveable. So instead of facing the inevitable agony of losing her, I broke up with the beautiful and brilliant Julia Roberts,” Perry wrote.
Perry’s recent death and his struggles with addiction have brought attention to their past relationship.
