House Democrats are distancing themselves from the term “Bidenomics” and prefer to use “People Over Politics” to describe President Joe Biden’s economic agenda.

Despite the change in terminology, they continue to support Biden’s economic policy, while Republicans are criticizing “Bidenomics” for its negative impact.

According to Axios, Both behind the scenes and in public, congressional Democrats are looking to drop the term in favor of a different way of pitching the president’s economic agenda.

Republicans’ use of the term will most likely continue.

House Speaker Mike Johnson posted this week, “‘Bidenomics’ is costing all Americans.”

“House Dems hope Americans forget the result of their failed policies, but how can they when we’re all paying the price,” he added.
