The debate between Gov. Ron DeSantis and Gov. Gavin Newsom was framed as a showdown between Florida and California.

DeSantis criticized Newsom’s failures, while Newsom responded with questionable statements and personal attacks.

DeSantis pointed out that Newsom is running a shadow campaign for president and criticized his rise to power. (Trending: Disgraced Democrat Sued For Sexual Assault)

For now, Newsom is being the “ultimate Democrat” by defending his party and Joe Biden at all costs.

At one point, Newsom claimed that he would “take Joe Biden at 100 [years old] rather than Ron DeSantis any day of the week at any age.”

Newsom has shown a willingness to go along with his party’s leader while appearing to plot his eventual rise to power.

Newsom’s critics accuse him of destroying San Francisco before moving on to destroy the state of California.

“As lieutenant governor of California, he patiently waited in the wings for then-California Gov. Jerry Brown to retire (sound familiar?) before becoming governor in 2018 with 61.9% of the vote, spending over three times more than his opponent,” the Washington Examiner noted.

Based on this past strategy, the obvious conclusion is that Newsom is waiting for Biden to retire before running for president.

Despite the failures of Democratic Party policy in California, Newsom has been reelected multiple times.

Democratic Party voters continue to push California down an unredeemable path.
