Dr. Anthony Fauci is set to testify before the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic in early January, including a two-day interview and a public hearing.
The committee is expected to question him on the origins of the virus, the U.S. response to the pandemic, and preventing future outbreaks.
“As the former Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and Chief Medical Advisor to the President of the United States, you have knowledge pertinent to both investigating and evaluating the federal government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic but also preparing for future pandemics,” the committee wrote.
