Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer plans for a quick vote on President Biden’s request for around $106 billion in funds for Israel, Ukraine, and other national security priorities.
Schumer aims to bring the “supplemental” package to the Senate floor as soon as the week of December 4th, facing opposition from Republicans linking aid to Ukraine with U.S. border security policy.

Schumer also outlined additional priorities for the Senate, including passing the National Defense Authorization Act and addressing government shutdown deadlines.
“Senators should expect long days and nights, and potentially weekends in December,” Schumer said.
