Former “CSI: Miami” star Evan Ellingson died from an accidental fentanyl overdose at the age of 35.
His father had previously mentioned his struggle with drug addiction, but his recent death came as a shock.
Ellingson also appeared in other high-profile projects throughout his career as a child actor.
“Ellingson was born in Los Angeles and grew up in the city of La Verne, California, with three brothers,” as reported.
The actor’s first gig was in the 2001 movie “Living in Fear,” followed by “General Hospital,” “Titus,” “Mad TV” and “Bones.”
