The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization is set to release a manifesto on altering the global diet at the upcoming COP28 environmentalist event, with a focus on the diet of Western and developed nations, particularly the United States.
The organization aims to advocate against meat consumption to spur voluntary change, but has no power to compel nations to change their food practices.

There are also concerns about the health and safety of faux meat products.
