Hunter Biden’s lawyer, Abbe Lowell, stated that his client is willing to testify before the House Oversight Committee on December 13 as part of the impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden.

However, Lowell demanded that the testimony must be held publicly.

Lowell emphasized the importance of transparency, expressing concerns about closed-door sessions.

In response, House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer asserted that Hunter Biden must comply with the subpoena for a deposition on December 13, but also acknowledged the possibility of a public testimony in the future. (Trending: Donald Trump Confronts Bud Light CEO.)

House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer wrote on X, “Hunter Biden is trying to play by his own rules instead of following the rules required of everyone else.”

Adding, “That won’t stand with House Republicans.”

The committee has also subpoenaed James Biden as part of the probe.
