Leslie Jones, guest hosting “The Daily Show,” expressed disbelief at Donald Trump’s continued popularity despite facing legal issues, questioning how he can run for president while being indicted in multiple states.
She criticized Trump’s comments about seeking revenge on his political rivals and humorously debunked his analogy of releasing a genie from a box.

“The man’s indicted in every state in America,” Jones pleaded.
Adding, “I didn’t know you was allowed to run for the president while you was already running from the po-po.”
Jones played a clip of Trump promising revenge against his political enemies once he wins the 2024 election.
“They’ve released the genie out of the box,” warned Trump to his opponents.
“Man, this dude can’t even tell the truth about genies,” Jones responded.
Adding, “The one thing we know about genies is they come out of a lamp.”
“If the genie can’t afford a lamp, he definitely can’t afford three wishes,” she joked.
Jones humorously suggested that a genie coming out of a box couldn’t afford three wishes, implying that they would likely be flawed.
“He might be able to give you one and a half wishes, but they’re definitely gonna be f—– up.” mocked the ex-SNL star.
