The judge in former President Trump’s New York criminal trial notified defense attorneys of a comment posted on the court’s Facebook page implying one of the jurors may have discussed the verdict with family before the trial concluded.

Specifically, the comment from a user named “Michael Anderson” stated “My cousin is a juror and says Trump is getting convicted!”

“‘Today, the Court became aware of a comment that was posted on the Unified Court System’s public Facebook page and which I now bring to your attention. In the comment, the user, ‘Michael Anderson,’ states:

’My cousin is a juror and says Trump is getting convicted! Thank you folks for all your hard work!!!!’”

The judge shared this comment with prosecutors and the defense.

The notification came after Trump was found guilty on all counts the following day.

Trump’s team said they are investigating the matter, while the court spokesperson stated they informed parties once learning of the online post.

The six-week trial addressed charges Trump falsified business records, brought by the Manhattan District Attorney.
