Bill Maher made an appearance on ‘The Megyn Kelly Show’ alongside Megyn Kelly who fact-checked him twice.
Maher repeatedly claimed that Hillary Clinton never called Donald Trump “illegitimate” and that January 6th rioters had murdered police officers.
“Hillary never said Trump was illegitimate,” Maher claimed. Kelly answered, “Yes she did. She said those exact words.”
In 2019, it was reported that Clinton condemned President Donald Trump, his arrogance, and what she labeled as his “illegitimate” victory. These comments from Clinton came as she was promoting her book, co-written with her daughter, called ‘The Book of Gutsy Women.’
Moreover, Maher was fact-checked that a police officer died from natural causes and not the actions of January 6th protesters.
Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick passed away from natural causes a day after protecting the Capitol during the January 6 attack, as per the DC medical examiner’s office.
Maher, who is a liberal comedian and less informed than Kelly, is spreading misinformation. In a video clip, Hillary Clinton can be heard stating, “I believe he knows he is an illegitimate president.”
“I believe he knows he’s an illegitimate president,” she said on CBS. “He knows that there were a bunch of different reasons why the election turned out the way it did.”
Hillary continued, “And I take full responsibility for those parts of it that I should. But hey, it was like applying for a job and getting 66 million letters of recommendation, and losing to a corrupt human tornado.”
“There was never an attack on the Capitol,” he sarcastically commented. “Like they (J6ers) never showed up at the capitol and break windows and knock down doors and kill cops.”
Kelly again corrected Maher and said, “They didn’t kill cops.” Maher responded, “Like J6ers didn’t show up and kill cops? Of course they did! They died of natural causes?”
Sicknick experienced two strokes at the base of his brainstem due to a clot in an artery. Maher’s attempt to blame January 6th rioters for allegedly killing Sicknick is misinformation.
The cause of death was determined “natural” with no signs of internal or external injuries or an allergic reaction to any chemical substances from January 6th.
One person on social media responded, “Maher already admitted he plays a character. But I’m not sure if he’s actually as uninformed as he seems or if he just won’t admit certain things because it might cost him ratings.”
Another person chimed in, “Bill needs to stop listening to the media so much and start opening his eyes to the truth.”
