Legal experts have recently discussed the importance of maintaining the order of documents that are seized or produced as evidence, as the order can provide context about chronology, intent, etc.

Some noted this is particularly relevant in Trump’s case since the documents were packed by the GSA.

They claim the DOJ “doctored” crime scene photos it released about Trump allegedly violating national security laws.

Critics argued these actions by the DOJ in altering records violate the laws they are using against defendants and imply “corruption and intention.”

A Florida judge indefinitely suspended the classified documents case against Trump due to uncertainty from his Manhattan trial.

Some suggested that if Trump wins another term, he would likely use executive authority to end both federal cases against him.

Experts have raised questions regarding the DOJ’s handling of evidence in the Trump investigations and predict the cases may not ultimately amount to much, especially if Trump returns to the White House.
