According to new DHS data, the number of Chinese nationals encountered by Border Patrol after crossing U.S. borders has increased more than 37,000% under President Biden in just three years.

In the first half of Fiscal Year 2024, nearly 25,000 Chinese nationals were encountered, compared to just 65 in the same period of FY2021 and 432 in FY2022.

For FY2023, a record 24,125 crossed, but Biden is already set to surpass that, with nearly 50,000 possible by September.

During a budget hearing, House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Mark Green raised concerns over the record numbers crossing on DHS Secretary Mayorkas’ watch, stating that by giving access to the southwest border, the administration has given China “all 1,951 miles”.

“Beijing has shown that if we give an inch, they will take a mile, and Mr. Secretary, you have given them all 1,951 miles of our southwest border,” Green said.
