A recent poll found that roughly a third of Democrat voters feel President Biden has not been tough enough on Israel, while smaller percentages of Republicans and independents agreed.
When asked about sympathy, Democrats were more split between Israel and Palestinians compared to Republicans who overwhelmingly sympathized more with Israel.
The poll comes after Iran launched drones and missiles at Israel over the weekend, which Israel intercepted.
Biden has insisted on continuing ironclad support for Israel despite criticism over its self-defense operation in Gaza against Hamas attacks last October that killed over 1,000 Israelis.
As the operation continues, Gaza faces famine. Other polls found around a third of Americans feel Biden should encourage Israel to stop military actions in Gaza, while around a quarter feel he should decrease or keep actions the same.
