Kamala Harris mocked
Vice President Kamala Harris is known for giving long and confusing explanations on different subjects. She tends to dumb down topics, presumably to explain her own understanding of a particular issue.
Transportation
For example, Kamala Harris recently said, “The issue of transportation is fundamentally about just making sure that people have the ability to get where they need to go.”
Outnumbered
Harris Faulkner from Fox News’ “Outnumbered” criticized for Harris for her statements.
Domestic flights
Co-host Kayleigh McEnany responded, “Hmmm. But wait, there’s more,” before pointing to Harris’ claim in a tweet that “the majority of domestic flights do not have accessible restrooms.”
Accessible restrooms
“The majority of domestic flights do not have accessible restrooms. This is absolutely unacceptable. Our Administration will soon announce a solution to help end this inequity,” Harris said.
Trust me
McEnany responded, “Every domestic flight I’ve been on has had accessible restrooms — trust me, I change my kids in them.”
Artificial intelligence
The show then rolled a video of Harris attempting to explain artificial intelligence. “I think the first part of this issue that should be articulated, AI is kind of a fancy thing,” Harris said. “First of all, it’s two letters. It means, Artificial Intelligence.”
Low approval
“She is off track, and I think we know this even from a president who has historically low approval ratings,” Faulkner said. “So, it doesn’t really matter now what she says as much as what she does. What is she doing to change the opinion of Americans? And if she ends up running in Biden’s place and for some reason he doesn’t run — is there enough time for her to turn this ship around?”
Worried
“And, you know, she’s counting the letters of AI and telling the rest of us that there are only two letters,” she added. “I’m worried for her.”
Two letters
“I am too, I am too,” McEnany agreed. “As a former colleague reminded me, VP has only two letters, as well.” Fox News contributor Marc Thiessen joked, “It stands for Vice President.”
Responded mockingly
“Thank you for clearing that up,” Faulkner responded mockingly.
Democracy
During a recent podcast, Harris tried to explain democracy by saying, “It’s important to see that, you know, the nature of democracy, there’s a duality to it. It has two sides to it,” Harris began. “On the one hand, there’s incredible strength, right, that when a democracy is intact, what it does for its people, in terms of the strength it gives its people and protects, in terms of individual freedoms and rights, right, and liberties.”
Extraordinarily fragile
Harris went on, “There’s an incredible strength in that, what it does for its people, when it is intact. On the other hand, democracy — extraordinarily fragile,” Harris said. “It’s only as strong as our willingness to fight for it. That’s by nature what a democracy is. It is about the people,” she continued.
Dislike
Harris has faced criticism on social media platforms, with many people expressing dislike for her since she and President Joe Biden took office.
Least popular
Despite being one of the least popular vice presidents in modern history, Harris is actively campaigning alongside Biden, whose poll numbers are also declining.
Convoluted explanations
Much of the criticism towards Harris revolves around her convoluted explanations on different issues.
