On his podcast, Bill Maher criticized today’s youth as “fragile” and lacking a proper education, saying schools push students through with diplomas regardless of knowledge.

He argued young adults don’t understand issues like the Gaza war but confidently voice opinions.

“You don’t have to know anything, and they will sign that diploma and kick you out the door, if you even finish it,” Maher said. “It’s criminal.”

Billy Dee Williams pushed back, suggesting generations face new challenges but can be corrected through history education.

While agreeing the youth lack knowledge not due to fault, Williams remained hopeful change would occur through AI advancing society.

“Things have changed tremendously, but it doesn’t mean that it can’t be corrected,” Williams said. “And it will be corrected. AI will certainly correct everything,” he quipped.
