Comedian Michael Rapaport, previously a liberal supporter, said he would consider voting for Donald Trump over Joe Biden in the next election.
Rapaport criticized Biden’s failures on border security and anti-Israel positions.
He said Democrats have abdicated safe streets in cities like New York.
“I will not support anybody who’s anti-Israel. I will not support that is anti-making America safe, that is cool with the fact that I got to show my ID at least 3 or 4 times at the airport, but it takes you 2 minutes to cross the border. I’m not down with that [expletive],” Rapaport wrote on X.
“If it comes down to Pig [expletive] Donald Trump and Smokin’ Joe Biden… I’m sorry. I am sorry. Voting for Pig [expletive] Donald Trump is on the table,” he said.
“I’m sorry! I’m [expletive] sorry. I’ll still call him Slob [expletive] Donald Trump, Pig [expletive] Donald Trump and all that. But we need to get this whole [expletive] situation under control,” he said.
The funeral of fallen NYPD officer Jonathan Diller was attended by Trump but New York Democrats were rejected.
Rapaport joins other celebrities expressing dissatisfaction with Biden as polls show Trump leading the incumbent president in key swing states.
“I’m not down with police officers in the greatest city on earth getting beaten up. You’re an illegal immigrant, and then you have no bail and flipping off the camera… I’m not getting caught up or suckered into any of the race politics or any of that [expletive] anymore,” he added.
Rapaport’s comments reflect a potential shift in support away from Biden among some liberals frustrated by issues like crime and border security.
