Jimmy Fallon made jokes at Eric Trump’s expense after Donald Trump posted a bond in his New York civil fraud case.
Fallon said Trump had to put up collateral to get the bond, showing a photo of Eric Trump and speculating that he was the collateral without providing evidence.
“The money came from an insurer out in California, but in order to get the bond Trump had to put up some collateral,” Fallon said.
“Now we don’t know exactly what Trump promised he give up in exchange for the money,” he said, with the image behind him.
“That information isn’t public. So all we can do is speculate,” he said, as the image showed. “But once we find out more, we’ll let you know,” he added, as the image was shown one more time.
Previously, Fallon joked that properties like Trump Tower and Mar-a-Lago were available to rent on Airbnb along with “Eric.”
Though the bond temporarily halted enforcement of Trump’s $464 million penalty for fraud, Fallon still took the opportunity to mock Eric Trump’s value and involvement in his father’s legal issues through insinuating photos without substantive commentary.
“Trump is pretty desperate for the money right now. If you go on Airbnb, you can rent Trump Tower, Mar-a-Lago and Eric,” Fallon joked.
