An old deleted tweet by NFL star Travis Kelce from 2010 has resurfaced, in which he made a questionable reference to Jesus “takin one for the team” on Easter Sunday.
Kelce, who has been dating singer Taylor Swift, tweeted this during his time at the University of Cincinnati when he was suspended for marijuana.
Kelce wrote, “happy easter to all!!! #shoutout to Jesus for takin one for the team… haha.”

The tweet garnered attention when unearthed on Easter by users on the social media platform X, with Kelce receiving criticism but not commenting further.
Swift herself has been accused of promoting satanic imagery in her concerts.
“I believe everything happens for a reason, God never said life would be easy, he just promised it would be worth it!” Kelce later wrote.
