A recent CNBC survey found that Americans currently trust former President Donald Trump over President Joe Biden on key issues like inflation and crime that are central to the upcoming midterm elections.
While Biden had a slight overall lead in a head-to-head matchup, Trump had significant advantages on the economy, inflation, crime, and middle class issues – holding leads of up to 30 points.
Biden only led on healthcare, abortion, corporate taxes and social security. Trump also led by larger margins on immigration, taxes, and dealing with China.
