ICE is trying to locate 27-year-old Leonel Moreno, an illegal immigrant from Venezuela who became a social media influencer.
He crossed into Texas in 2022 but failed to show up for his court date after being released under an alternative detention program.
“ICE had lost track of Moreno until his videos telling migrants how to live off the state started going viral. They now have him listed as possibly living in Columbus, Ohio,” the report said.

Moreno gained viral attention by promoting squatting in empty homes as a way for migrants to seize property.
In videos viewed hundreds of thousands of times, he instructed others on how to illegally take over homes.
“I found out that there is a law that says if a house is not inhabited, we can seize it,” Moreno said.
“My African friends have told me that they have already taken about seven homes.”
However, his accounts were later suspended for promoting criminality.
Moreno is now considered an “absconder” and recently mocked American taxpayers in Instagram videos while holding money, saying he came to the U.S. to “mark his territory” and make money without much work unlike exploited Americans.
“I didn’t cross the Rio Grande to work like a slave. I came to the U.S. to mark my territory,” he said online.
“You’re hurt because I make more than you without much work while you work like slaves, understand? That’s the difference between you and me,” he added. “I’m always going to make lots of money without much work, and you’re always going to be exploited and miserable and insignificant.”
