Former President Trump sharply criticized former Rep. Liz Cheney and the January 6 committee for potentially omitting or misrepresenting evidence.

In a statement on Truth Social, Trump said Cheney and others on the committee should go to jail.

“She should go to jail along with the rest of the Unselect Committee!” Trump wrote.

This came after a report that a Secret Service agent testified before the committee, contradicting claims made by Cassidy Hutchinson about Trump attempting to seize control of the presidential vehicle on January 6.

The agent said he did not see Trump reach for the steering wheel or lunge for the front seat, undermining Hutchinson’s second-hand account.

“The driver testified that he specifically refuted the version of events as recounted by Hutchinson,” Rep. Barry Loudermilk noted in a report. “The driver of the SUV testified that he ‘did not see him reach [redacted]. [President Trump] never grabbed the steering wheel.”

“I didn’t see him, you know, lunge to try to get into the front seat at all,’” the agent testified. (Trending: Boeing Whistleblower Found Dead, Left Behind Chilling Message)

Trump declared the claims against him were fabricated stories that received unwarranted attention from Democrats.

He maintained barriers in the vehicle would have prevented him from accessing the driver, as alleged.

“These were made-up, fabricated stories,” Trump said.

“Well, the story was false and so ridiculous that I would grab these young, strong guys,” Trump added.

“I don’t even know if you’d be able to do it because they have a lot of things in between the driver and the back, you know, like steel, then various other things. And I would imagine it would be very hard to do. But the whole concept of me doing it, these were made-up fabricated stories. And they got tremendous play,” he said.

“I said, I think, let’s go down to the Capitol. And the Secret Service was very nice and said, ‘Sir, really better for you to go back to the White House. It really is, you know, we’re not prepared to go down there.’ And I understood that, and it was no big argument,” he said.
