A Mega Millions ticket worth $1.13 billion was sold in New Jersey, the fifth largest lottery prize ever.
The ticket with chosen numbers was sold at a Saker ShopRite Liquor store in Neptune Township.
“It was not a Quick Pick. It was chosen numbers, and it was a one board ticket. One pick,” Northstar New Jersey Lottery Group’s Adam Perlow said.

The store will receive $30,000 for selling the ticket, which owner Richard Saker said would be donated to local food banks.
“We’re gonna donate those proceeds. It feels like it’s the right thing to do,” Saker said.
It is the largest lottery prize ever won in New Jersey.
The winner, who has one year to claim and can remain anonymous, has not yet come forward.
The clerk who pulled the ticket does not recall who purchased it.
“There was a few people coming in and out last night. I cannot remember who it was,” the clerk said.
“I’m trying to go back and remember … but I have no clue at all.”
“It’s exciting. I’m happy that someone in my hometown (won),” she said.
The winner can either accept $537.5 million after taxes paid out over 30 years or a lump sum.
Those struggling with gambling problems should seek help from organizations like the National Council on Problem Gambling.
