In an interview with CNN, actor and comedian Larry David unleashed harsh criticism of Donald Trump, though did not mention him by name.
David called Trump “a little baby” who has “thrown 250 years of democracy out the window” by refusing to accept the 2020 election results.
He derided Trump as “so insane” and “such a sick man” for convincing people he didn’t lose, saying “we know he lost, he knows he lost.”
“I mean, you can’t go a day without thinking about what he’s done to this country because he’s such a little baby that he’s thrown 250 years of democracy out the window by not accepting the results of an election,” David said. “I mean, it’s so crazy.”
David asserted Trump is “so sick” and has “not one redeeming quality,” comparing him poorly to “the worst dictators in history” like Stalin, whose regime killed 20 million people.
“He’s so insane. He just couldn’t admit to losing. And we know he lost, he knows he lost,” David said. “And look how he’s fooled everybody. He’s convinced all these people that he didn’t lose. It’s — he’s such a sick man. He’s so sick.”
“Anyway, no, it hasn’t impacted me at all.”
“You know, it’s an amazing thing. The man has not one redeeming quality,” David said.
“You could take some of the worst dictators in history and I’m sure that all of them, you could find one decent quality. Stalin could have had one decent quality, we don’t know!”
