Actress Cameron Diaz and musician husband Benji Madden announced the birth of their second child, a baby boy named Cardinal Madden.
In a joint Instagram post, they expressed their happiness at welcoming their son while maintaining their usual privacy by not sharing photos.
“We are blessed and excited to announce the birth of our Son, Cardinal Madden. He is awesome and We are all so happy he is here!” they wrote.
“For the kids safety and privacy we won’t be posting any pictures- but he’s a really cute. We are feeling so blessed and grateful. Sending much love from our fam to yours. Best wishes and Good Afternoon!!”
Diaz, known for films like Charlie’s Angels and There’s Something About Mary, met Good Charlotte guitarist Madden through friends in 2014.
They married privately in 2015 and also kept Diaz’s 2020 pregnancy with daughter Raddix a secret until announcing her birth.
Stepping back from acting years ago, Diaz has focused on family and wellness while Madden remains active in music.
The couple are grateful for their new addition while continuing to shield their family from public scrutiny.
