Late Show host Stephen Colbert criticized Lara Trump’s election as co-chair of the Republican National Committee, noting her lack of relevant credentials.
While introducing her, an RNC member said “God does not call the qualified, he qualifies the called.”
Colbert implied her marriage was the main qualification for the high-profile role leading a major political party organization.
“Sure Lara Trump may not be qualified, she may not have experience doing things but she has done what no one thought possible: she married Eric Trump,” Colbert said.
