Tony Bobulinski, a former Hunter Biden associate, testified that Hunter had introduced him to Joe Biden in 2017 to discuss business with a Chinese firm.
The testimony centered around allegations of corruption involving Joe Biden and his son Hunter’s business dealings in China.
The impeachment inquiry is a “flabby Hail Mary pass three weeks after the Super Bowl’s over,” Democratic Rep. Jamie Raskin stated.
He asserted that Joe Biden was directly involved in his son’s business ventures, contradicting Joe Biden’s claims otherwise.
Bobulinski accused Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, and other Democrats of lying about the nature of the business relationships and meetings.
“Should I allow Hunter to give his opening statement first?” Bobulinski asked, knowing that Hunter was not present.
Joe Biden is a “serial liar and fabulist,” he said.
Jim Biden, Joe’s brother, is a “75-year-old man who can’t keep his lies straight,” he added.
Hunter is a “chronic drug addict facing two indictments,” Bobulinski said.
“The sole reason Hunter wanted me to meet his father was because I was the CEO of Sinohawk,” Bobulinski said.
“If Joe Biden was not involved in his son’s business dealings … why would he take 45 minutes out of his night to sit with me … to discuss my background, the business we’re doing with the Chinese and his family’s background?”
Bobulinski also focused his attack on Democratic of New York and Raskin, the ranking member of the Oversight Committee.
Raskin and Rep. Dan Goldman, “will continue to lie today in this hearing and then go straight to the media to tell more lies,” Bobulinski said.
“Keep going, you fool!” Democratic Florida Rep. Jared Moskowitz told Bobulinski during the hearing. “You’re such a fool!”
The Democratic members sought to shift attention back to claims against Trump rather than addressing the specific allegations regarding the Bidens.
